What is JavaScript?
Java is a coding language that controls dynamic elements of a website, like moving images or popup windows. When you get a Java error, it usually means you don't have JavaScript enabled so Internet Explorer (or Firefox) isn't able to display the webpage properly.
Fortunately, the fix is straightforward.
1. Run the "Java Test"
Open the Java test at java.com/en/download to check your browser has Java enabled. If your screens shows a moving image, your browser is Java-enabled and you should be fine.
Try one of these solutions if you see an error message on the Java site:
2. Enable Java in Internet Explorer
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Connections -> Tools -> Internet Options -> click the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Java heading, and put a check in the box next to Java. Next, Click the Security tab, and Custom Level at the bottom. Choose Scripting of Java applets, Click Enable and OK.
3. Update your JavaScript
Go to the Java download page at java.com/en/download and if you see a message telling you that you don't have the recommended version of Java installed, download the new version from the page and install it on your PC.
4. Clear Temporary Files
Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools -> Internet Options and under the General tab, click Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Clear History. This will ensure your browser loads pages with the new Java plugin installed.
5. Clean your computer's registry
The computer registry is similar to a library, that stores files to run programs like Outlook. Over time, as software and files are installed and removed, and common programs are used more than others the computer registry becomes cluttered with broken and redundant files. Scanning your registry for broken files will make sure your file system is up to date. See user-rated

6. Spyware or virus
More concerning, is that a Java error could be a symptom of spyware or virus on your PC. If your files have been corrupted or moved, you may want to check your hard drive by scanning your computer for Spyware. You can get rid of Spyware immediately with an antivirus program. Reviews at
